We generates over 30% of our energy requirements through our windmills and solar power plants

Our dyeing & processing facility boasts a state of the art Effluent Treatment Plant, which allows us to effectively recycle the water consumed in our dyeing processes

Land

Plantation of more than 20,000 sq. ft. across the manufacturing facilities.

Air

Our plants are designed for sustainable manufacturing. In our plant we use eco-friendly briquettes made from agriculture waste instead of coal in boilers for steam generation.

The Company offers nutritious food to workers at a subsidised cost in its canteen.

The Company’s workforce is insured under the Workmen Compensation and Group Medical Policy. It conducts regular health check-ups of all employees and workers.

During Covid, the Company funded workers’ vaccination, providing work from home facility as well as flexible working hours and conveyance.

We are supporting the Bal Shiksha Ahara program by Akshaya Chaitanya with a hope to ensure a food-secure society by battling hunger and starvation in the classroom. This partnership has helped us feed the children from vulnerable families with nutritious breakfast and lunch meals every day to satiate their hunger thus unlocking the world of equal opportunities for them in the society.

Through Udayan Care’s Udayan Shalini program, we are promoting education for girls and empowering them to pursue their educational goals. This program provides financial support, mentorship, and a supportive community to girls, helping them access quality education and achieve their academic aspirations.

Mr. Biren Bandyopadhyay

Executive Director

Er. Birendranath Bandyopadhyay is Chartered Engineer from the Institution of Engineers (India), He is also honoured with the “Eminent Engineer Award” by the Institute of Engineers (India). He has done his M. Tech. (Fiber Science) from IIT Delhi and GMPE from IIM Lucknow.

Prior to Orbit, he has played multiple leadership roles, like President in Kusumgar Pvt Ltd, Vice President and Business Head of JCT Taffeta Plant, Vice President and Joint Business Lead in PT. Indorama Fabrics Division, Indonesia, etc.

Being a seasoned expert in the business of cotton, polyester, nylon, aramid, and their blends, he has delivered various lectures on technical textiles at esteemed platforms such as DMAI, Mumbai, and the textile conference at STTT, Indonesia, etc.
He is an active committee member of “Develop Model Textiles Curriculum for Undergraduate Studies” by AICTE. He has rich experience in dealing with international customers.

He is a visionary leader with a proven growth trajectory.
