Since its humble beginnings in 1983 as a small weaving company, Orbit Exports has significantly evolved to emerge as one of India’s leading exporters of fabrics. Orbit’s remarkable success is evident through its expansive global presence, marked by prolific operations in the USA, Latin America, Africa, Europe, and the Far East.

Mr. Biren Bandyopadhyay

Executive Director

Er. Birendranath Bandyopadhyay is Chartered Engineer from the Institution of Engineers (India), He is also honoured with the “Eminent Engineer Award” by the Institute of Engineers (India). He has done his M. Tech. (Fiber Science) from IIT Delhi and GMPE from IIM Lucknow.

Prior to Orbit, he has played multiple leadership roles, like President in Kusumgar Pvt Ltd, Vice President and Business Head of JCT Taffeta Plant, Vice President and Joint Business Lead in PT. Indorama Fabrics Division, Indonesia, etc.

Being a seasoned expert in the business of cotton, polyester, nylon, aramid, and their blends, he has delivered various lectures on technical textiles at esteemed platforms such as DMAI, Mumbai, and the textile conference at STTT, Indonesia, etc.
He is an active committee member of “Develop Model Textiles Curriculum for Undergraduate Studies” by AICTE. He has rich experience in dealing with international customers.
